The annual collection to support re­tir­ed religious is taken up each December, and area Cath­o­lics have always been generous. But this year, School Sister of Notre Dame Midge Breiter, who oversees the local Retire­ment Fund for Re­ligious, is concerned that many people missed the call to help because of bad weather.
