Last day in Rome includes journey through time

On our last day in Rome, our group of 25 young adults were reminded of the journey Christians have taken through history, dating back to the day Jesus died on the Cross.

A pilgrim reflects: Finding beauty in the Church

We were blessed to attend the weekly general audience with Pope Francis while on our ad limina pilgrimage with the bishop of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, and at the end of the audience we were able to take a picture with him.

Young adults make ‘deep dive’ into faith during ‘ad limina’ visit

Mychael Schilmoeller and her unborn child received a special blessing from Pope Francis Jan. 15 as she traveled with 24 other young adults accompanying Archbishop Bernard Hebda and Auxiliary Bishop Andrew Cozzens on their “ad limina apostolorum” in Rome.

History lesson: gladiators and martyrs to the faith

A pilgrimage within a pilgrimage: Assisi

Today, we took a pilgrimage within our pilgrimage, visiting Assisi, the home of Sts. Francis, Clare, and Agnes.

Many prayers, little sleep, new adventures

The blessings of this pilgrimage start to unfold ... Upon arriving at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport with 24 other young adults on our way to Rome and the ad limina visit

Young adults to share ad limina experiences in Rome through The Catholic Spirit

Young adults traveling to Rome with Archbishop Bernard Hebda and Auxiliary Bishop Andrew Cozzens will share their trip with others even as they experience it. That’s the plan for a regular blog posting on The Catholic Spirit website as 25 men and women ages 21 to 35 accompany the bishops Jan. 9-18 for the bishops’ Jan. 13 visit with Pope Francis.
