Bishop Lee Piché confirmed seven young people Sept. 14 during the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis’ annual Mass for Persons with Disabilities at the St. Paul Seminary.

“Jesus wants you to lift up the cross and let him speak to your heart,” Bishop Piché told the candidates and their families during his homily. “Let him remind you that you are not alone, you are loved, and you have something very, very wonderful to offer through your suffering.”

The event was sponsored by the Archdiocesan Outreach to Persons with Disabilities of the Office of Marriage, Family and Life.
