New Lenten reflections app for iPad and iPhone

| March 3, 2011 | 4 Comments

If you’re looking for daily inspiration this Lent, you might consider a new app from Liturgical Press in Collegeville.

The app makes the content of the book “Not by Bread Alone: Daily Reflections for Lent” by Bishop Robert Morneau, auxiliary bishop of Green Bay, Wis., available to iPad and iPhone users.

The app allows users to access the current day’s reading and a reflection on that reading. They also can jump to the page of any other day in the season, change the type size to their liking and share daily readings with friends through e-mail.

The app is available for 99 cents from Apple’s App Store. Search for “Not by Bread Alone.”

Liturgical Press has a direct link to the product from its website, .

That app was for Lent 2011. It’s possible there isn’t a similar app for Lent 2012. You might want to check with Liturgical Press.
