Nominations are now being accepted for The Catholic Spirit’s 2014 Leading With Faith awards, presented by the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Each year, the awards recognize Catholic business owners, managers, and supervisors who work in the 12-county archdiocese and bring their Catholic faith into the marketplace.

Award honorees are men and women who influence their workplaces through business practices that reflect the teachings of Jesus Christ and his Church and who share their time and talent with parishes and the wider community.

During the past 13 years, The Catholic Spirit has honored more than 100 people with a Leading With Faith award.

Honorees represent a range of professions. In past years, for example, they have included a gas station owner, social work supervisor, bus company president, restaurant owners and advertising agency vice president.

Last year’s winners included people like Jeff Berg, president/owner of Integrated Wealth Advisors and a member of Holy Family in St. Louis Park; Christopher Zeman, vice president/co-owner of Zeman Construction and a member of St. Joseph in New Hope; Dan and Barb Massman, station owners of KDWA Radio and parishioners at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Hastings; and Tom Redman, director of parks and recreation for the City of Chaska and a parishioner at Guardian Angels in Chaska.
