Deacon Adrian Richard Boisclair, an Air Force veteran who served at two parishes during his ministry in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, died Dec. 28. He was 90.
Father Richard Villano, once a teacher while with the Crosiers, carried his enthusiasm for Catholic schools through years of ministry, 43 of them at St. Helena in Minneapolis. He died Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, at 89.
Father Dennis Dempsey, who served in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis for 41 years, died Oct. 25 after being struck by a motorist in Rosemount while riding his bicycle. He was 73. According to a story in the Star Tribune, the motorist had been convicted 10 times for driving with a revoked license and may be charged in this incident.
Jovial, compassionate and big-hearted are ways Father Ralph Huar is remembered by those who knew him well. A retired priest of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, Father Huar died Oct. 4 trapped beneath a backhoe at a construction site adjacent to his home in Little Falls. Police were investigating the incident.
Deacon David Huibregtse, 85, who spent all 14 years of his active ministry in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis’ AIDS Ministry, died Oct. 5 after a lengthy struggle with Parkinson’s disease.
