The Catholic Spirit Editorial Coverage
Is your event unique and exceptionally newsworthy? It may be considered for a story in The Catholic Spirit, the official publication of our local Church. If you would like your event considered for coverage, email stories@archspm.org.
The Catholic Spirit Calendar of Events
If your parish or organization is hosting a great event you’d like to share with other Catholics in our archdiocese*, please submit your event via The Catholic Spirit Calendar Submissions form. Events are posted on The Catholic Spirit website under Local Events, and events of a unique nature and/or of broad appeal may appear in a print edition as well.
The Catholic Spirit Advertising
It’s easy to advertise your event with The Catholic Spirit, in our biweekly print edition or on The Catholic Spirit website. Calendar of Events on the Archdiocesan Website
One way to share your event* with other Catholics in this local Church is on the Events Calendar the Archdiocesan website. Events featuring well-known Catholic speakers, retreats and other ministry events of broad appeal are featured, alongside Archdiocesan events. To suggest an event, please fill out the online form.
Weekly Bulletin E-Newsletter
A weekly email is sent to parish bulletin editors and / or administrative assistants within our local Church containing announcements and events within the archdiocese. The email is sent on Thursdays (for publication in bulletins a week and a half later). Content is selected for inclusion on a space-available basis. To submit an event for consideration, please fill out this online form.
Social Media
Have an event*, announcement or other content you would like with other Catholics in our local Church via archdiocesan social media? Send content to socialmedia@archspm.org. The Archdiocese and/or The Catholic Spirit may share it via our social media accounts or better yet, we can share it from your social media page!
*Note: All events must promote and uphold the values and teachings of the Catholic Church. Events must be connected with a parish or school within the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and/or a local Catholic organization. Events must also appeal to a broad audience of Catholics, beyond an individual parish.
