Committee addressing unresolved parish planning recommendations
Seven years after the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis began implementing the mandates of a comprehensive strategic planning process, a new committee is working to reassess parts that never took effect. It plans to meet with pastors and leaders of parishes considering merging or clustering, and recommend solutions to Archbishop Bernard Hebda and his consultative councils.

Parish Strategic Planning Task Force begins work
A group of local Catholic leaders has begun meeting about the next phase of parish strategic planning within the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Five Catholic schools involved in reconfiguration plan
The schools involved are Holy Trinity and St. John Vianney in South St. Paul; St. Joseph and St. Michael in West St. Paul; and St. Matthew in St. Paul.

Many pastors will soon spring into new parish assignments
Spring always brings change and growth. This year, the changes will be numerous for pastors and parishioners in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
The archdiocese has 21 openings in parishes for pastors, said Deacon Russ Shupe, director of clergy placement and diaconate.
