On May 12, the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, the entire Church acclaims Jesus Christ in his holy humanity, invited to sit at the Father’s right hand and to share his glory.

Trading places: Students build solidarity through school exchange
First, second and third-graders from Holy Name of Jesus School in Wayzata visited the students at Ascension School in North Minneapolis, while the fourth, fifth and sixth-graders from Ascension visited Holy Name for a day of fun and learning together.

Ascension adds to Resurrection glory
The Ascension — commemorated June 5 this year — took place 40 days after Jesus’ resurrection from the dead (Acts 1:3). On that great and glorious day the Lord Jesus was “lifted up before their eyes in a cloud which took him from their sight” (Acts 1:9).
