The award, given to a youth who has performed an outstanding act of service that reflects an uncommon concern for the well-being of others, recognized his efforts in August to bring a toddler in his neighborhood out of danger. The neighbor boy was standing on a chair and leaning out of an open window 15 feet above a cement driveway. Corbo spotted the boy, talked him away from the window, then summoned a friend to stay with the boy while he ran for help. Corbo is a member of Pack 824 in the Northern Star Council and St. John Neumann in Eagan.
