Encourage youth to believe in Jesus

| February 2, 2011 | 0 Comments

Many young people believe that God does not care for them and that religion offers nothing they want.  How can we help them?

Jesus said, “Let the children come to me and do not stop them because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark 10:14). Only faith in Jesus Christ gives young people understanding that God loves them. It is God’s unconditional love of them that caused Jesus to die on a cross and rise from the dead to give life and understanding to sinners who believe in Jesus. “And while you were dead spiritually in your sins, Jesus made you alive with him having forgiven all your sins” (Colossians 2:13).

What does God want us to do?  Jesus says: “What God wants you to do is to believe in me”  (John 6:29).

May God give us the grace to encourage young people to believe in Jesus.
