Women’s retreat set for April 2

Women of all ages are invited to a morning retreat of prayer, sacrament and reflection. “Turning Away from Sin:  Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving,” sponsored by the archdiocesan Office of Marriage, Family and Life, will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 2 at Holy Spirit church in St. Paul.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The day will include reflections from Father Peter Laird, vicar general of the archdiocese, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and a walk with Mary through the Stations of the Cross. The day will conclude with Mass. Confessions will be heard throughout the retreat.

The cost of the retreat is $10. Registration can be completed by sending in a registration form with a check payable to: “Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis,” to: MFL-Women’s Retreat, 328 West Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55102.
