The Joint Religious Legislative Coalition is sponsoring a Statehood Day Interfaith Vigil beginning at 2 p.m., May 11 at the State Capitol. Participants will meet at the Floyd B. Olson statue southwest of the Capitol front door and then march to the rotunda.
“The faith communities of Minnesota will pray for our elected officials and encourage them to find a more generous and balanced public stewardship of the state budget,” according to a release from the JRLC, of which the Minnesota Catholic Conference is a sponsoring organization.
