Senior center Daniel Oturu made a game-winning slam dunk as Cretin-Derham Hall won the Class 4A state boys basketball title March 24.

Oturu, a University of Minnesota basketball recruit, had 17 points, including the last-second dunk to beat defending champion Apple Valley. The St. Paul Catholic school captured its eighth state title with the 79-78 victory at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
