Transitional deacons ordained at Basilica of St. Mary

Marquard and eight others were ordained for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and one was ordained for the Diocese of Rockford, Ill. The men ordained for the archdiocese are: Leonard Andrie, Andrew Brinkman, John Drees, Joah Ellis, Andrew Jaspers, Brian Park, James Peterson and Andrew Stueve. Manuel Gerardo Gomez Reza was ordained for the Diocese of Rockford. Seminarians are ordained to the transitional diaconate before their last year of preparation for ordination to the priesthood.
