Obstructed view

Junior forward Dakari Davison of St. Agnes High School in St. Paul finds himself hemmed in by senior forward Ben Meyer of Totino-Grace High School in Fridley as he drives to the basket during first-round action in The Catholic Spirit Christmas Basketball Tournament Dec. 28 at the University of St. Thomas. The tournament features eight teams and is being played in the university's recently completed Anderson Athletic and Recreational Complex. Totino-Grace defeated St. Agnes 87-43. Other scores Tuesday included Wayzata over Holy Angels 52-41, Hill-Murray over St. Paul Central 64-62 and Cretin-Derham Hall defeating Minneapolis Southwest 74-62. Second-round results Wednesday were: Wayzata over Totino-Grace, 85-54, Cretin-Derham Hall over Hill-Murray, 79-46, Holy Angels over St. Agnes, 68-55 and St. Paul Central defeating Minneapolis Southwest, 70-58.
