What kind of person would drive out into the country on a frigid winter night, get out of the car and stand in below-zero temperatures for three hours? “A special brand of idiot,” quip­ped Steve Baranski, who did just that during a recent cold snap that saw temperatures after sunset fall to below zero, with wind chills classified as dangerous.
