An additional seven parishes have gone over their 2012 Catholic Services Appeal goal, bringing the total number of parishes over goal to 73.

The 2012 Catholic Services Appeal has now reached more than $7.4 million in gifts and pledges toward the goal of $9.3 million.

An additional 16 parishes have gone over their 2012 Catholic Services Appeal goal, bringing the total number to 46.

The Catholic Services Appeal has now reached more than $6 million in pledges for the 2012 campaign with 31 parishes exceeding their 2012 goals.

As the Feb. 18-19 announcement weekend approaches for the 2012 Catholic Services Appeal, The Catholic Spirit will be spotlighting various ministries supported by the CSA. This edition focuses on the pro-life efforts and other ministries of the archdiocesan Office of Marriage, Family and Life.

Just as the Catholic Services Appeal sent out its end-of-the-year mailing, Archbishop John Nienstedt announced that the Appeal had surpassed its 2011 goal of $9.3 million.
