His Excellency, the Most Reverend John Nienstedt, has announced the following appointments in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis:
(Editor’s note: Appointments were made before Archbishop Nienstedt resigned June 15.)

Effective July 1, 2015

  • Reverend Allan Paul Eilen, appointed pastor of the Church of Saint Patrick in Oak Grove. This is a transfer from his current appointment as pastor of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Marysburg and the Church of the Nativity in Cleveland.

Effective August 17, 2015

  • Reverend David Haschka, SJ, granted faculties of the Archdiocese and assigned as parochial vicar of the Church of Saint Olaf in Minneapolis.

His Excellency, the Most Reverend Bernard Hebda, has announced the following appointments in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis:

Effective June 29, 2015

  • Reverend Robert Morin, OMI, granted faculties of the Archdiocese and assigned in residence at the Church of Saint Casimir and the Church of Saint Patrick in Saint Paul.

Effective July 1, 2015

  • Reverend Erik Lundgren, appointed parochial administrator of the Parish of Saints Joachim and Anne in Shakopee. Father Lundgren previously served as parochial vicar of the same parish.

Effective July 15, 2015

  • Reverend Andrew Jaspers, appointed temporary parochial administrator of the Church of Saint John the Baptist in New Brighton, until the current pastor, Reverend Michael Skluzacek, returns from sabbatical.

Retirements Effective July 1, 2015

  • Reverend Peter Wittman, released from his assignment as pastor of the Parish of Saints Joachim and Anne in Shakopee and granted the status of a retired priest. Father Wittman has served the Archdiocese as a priest since his ordination in 1975.
